Yes this is true, however, many who are not homeless continue to despise the homeless, saying, "What are they doing with cell phones?" or "How can you be on a computer if you are homeless?". How do you expect they will be able to be contacted if their cell phone isn't charged? Ever heard of a library? When I was homeless the library computers and a cell phone were basic essentials. Just because someone is homeless, for whatever reason, doesn't make them stupid. Be careful who you despise, you may be the next one to find yourself homeless, especially in today's economic situation.
Just wait until they have satellite dishes attached to their tin shacks like they do in Mexico.
